These WarmTone™ presses are the first pressing machines to be developed in over 30 years. Their manufacturers, Viryl Technologies in Toronto, are vinyl experts at the top of their game who understand and respect the traditional process of vinyl production. Through their WarmTone™ presses they have made this process faster, more efficient, and with unrivalled quality and consistency in the records they produce. See our “Equipment” page for more info on our presses.

Dublin Vinyl has the capacity to produce up to 100,000 superior quality records per month, with plans to increase that figure to 200,000 by the end of 2018.

WARMTONE™

As experts and lovers of vinyl, Viryl Technologies understand and respect the traditional process of vinyl manufacturing and have in no way altered it. With their flagship WarmTone™ presses and ADAPT™ Client Interface, they’ve just modernised it to meet today’s technological standards.

Our WarmTone™ Presses have been developed by Viryl Technologies based in Toronto. Described in their own words:

“An engineered solution that removes “the rust” from the vinyl manufacturing process. A combination of bright, experienced record pressing minds, high level mechanical and mechatronics engineers, define the Viryl Technologies™ outfit. We understand vinyl records. As machine specialists, pressing plant owners and operators, cutting engineers, and musicians. We are vinyl record experts. We understand that now is the time for advancement in the vinyl record manufacturing process. Viryl Technologies has taken a calculated approach to propelling vinyl records into the future … Conceived out of frustration in dealing with long turnaround times, high defect rates, inconsistent cycle times, and operator reliability.”

Compared to older pressing machines, the fully-automatic WarmTone™ presses operate at up to twice the speed with higher efficiency, up to 80% less waste and with a modern reliability and trouble shooting customer service that is quite simply unparalleled and has never been seen before in the vinyl manufacture industry. Through their ADAPT™ client interface platform they can remotely monitor each pressing machine in Dublin Vinyl around the clock from their Toronto base, allowing them not just spot potential maintenance needs before any downtime is required, but also ensure that all machines are operating at peak performance and offer tips on maximising efficiency for each individual operator and job.

WarmTone™ pressing machines are about the change the face of physical music manufacture globally, and we’re proud to be one of the first pressing plants in the world to be using them.
