Dublin Vinyl is a state-of-the-art record pressing plant based in Glasnevin in Dublin.

We are seeking an individual for full-time work assembling the various components of a vinyl record package. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves an eye for detail and a high standard of quality control.

Job Duties

This is the final step in preparing a customer-ready vinyl package before shipping, so requires the following:

• Quality assurance on vinyl records – this is the final step in visual QA of records.
• Assemble records & other components (eg: inserts, download cards, stickers) into sleeves with complete accuracy.
• Ensure all components are assembled to client specification within the sleeve, and as required, on outer shrinkwrap.
• Shrinkwrap records in sleeves.
• Identify and flag any problems relating to the job or system processes.
• Update production software as required during and/or post-job, documenting job details and any issues.
• Pack & palletise orders.
• Ensure utmost care in the handling of records and all relevant components.
• Participate in the implementation of operational processes.
• Maintain and improve workspaces for maximum efficiency & safety.

Requirements & Experience

• A passion for music
• Basic knowledge of the vinyl format specifically is an advantage
• Previous experience in warehousing & shipping environment
• Attentive to detail
• Understands urgency
• Forklift driving experience desirable
• Leaving Certificate required
• Likes being part of a team who works hard and respects their work and their co-workers
• Demonstrates common sense and adheres to safety measures
